Hello friends!!!

It is a great pleasure to meet you all once again.

May God fulfill all your wishes and make you flourish.

Without wasting any time, let us move forward with the discussion on Brahmastra in our last article.

Gain insight into Brahmastra and its immense power for devastation.

It is likely that Ashwatthama was responsible for the first atomic bomb in history. In contemporary times, J. Robert Oppenheimer extensively examined the Gita and the Mahabharata. He investigated the devastating and lethal capabilities of the Brahmastra referenced in the Mahabharata and designated his project as Trinity. Between 1939 and 1945, a group of scientists led by Oppenheimer undertook this endeavor, with the initial test occurring on July 16, 1945.

Recent investigations by foreign researchers suggest that a nuclear bomb was utilized in the Mahabharata. Dr. Vishnu Vartak Padmakar, a writer and scholar from Pune, proposed this idea 42 years ago, asserting that the Brahmastra described in the epic was akin to a nuclear weapon. His insights were documented in the book "Swayambhu," which he authored in 1969-70.

The historical accounts of Brahmastra's use in ancient India are plentiful. In the Ramayana, for example, Lakshmana expresses his desire to activate Brahmastra to confront Meghnath. Nevertheless, Lord Rama restrains him, asserting that it would be inappropriate to use such a weapon at that juncture, as it would devastate all of Lanka.

The Brahmastra is identified as a nuclear weapon, commonly described as a divine weapon. It is thought to be the most effective and lethal weapon known. While the wielder of this weapon had the power to withdraw it, Ashwatthama was unable to do so, resulting in the loss of numerous lives. In the ancient texts of Ramayana and Mahabharata, this weapon was possessed by only a limited number of individuals.

In the times of the Ramayana, Vibhishan and Lakshmana were the bearers of this weapon. Conversely, during the Mahabharata, it was in the hands of prominent individuals including Dronacharya, Ashwatthama, Krishna, Kuvalashva, Yudhishthira, Karna, Pradyumna, and Arjuna. Dronacharya acquired it from Ram Jamdagni, and there are accounts suggesting that Indra presented it to Arjuna.

Various forms of Brahmastra exist, ranging from small to large, each capable of significant destruction. These include desired, chemical, divine, and magical weapons, among others. It is said that when two Brahmastras come into contact, it could lead to a cataclysmic event akin to doomsday, raising concerns about the potential annihilation of the entire planet. The Mahabharata elaborates on the repercussions of the Brahmastra in chapters 13 to 15 of the Sauptik Parva.

The Vedas and Puranas state that Lord Brahma, the creator of the universe, fashioned the Brahmastra to eliminate demons. The term Brahmastra signifies "the weapon of Brahma" (God). In antiquity, such weapons possessed a level of destructiveness that surpassed that of standard arms, being composed of metals, while the methodology for their production was notably unique.

In the beginning, the Brahmastra was exclusively possessed by the gods and goddesses. Each deity wielded a weapon that corresponded to their unique abilities. Initially, the gods entrusted this formidable weapon to the Gandharvas, and subsequently, it came into the hands of humans.

Each weapon was governed by a distinct deity or divine entity. Additionally, its operation was conducted through mantras, tantras, and yantras. The Brahmastra is an infallible weapon that only releases its power after annihilating the enemy. Its counteraction can only be achieved through another Brahmastra; otherwise, it is not possible.

The ramifications of the Brahmastra's release are profound. According to Maharishi Ved Vyas, when the Brahmastra is activated, there is a total lack of Parjanya—encompassing the birth of animals, trees, and plants—for a period of twelve years. Additionally, the Mahabharata indicates that the deployment of the Brahmastra led to the devastation of the wombs of women living in the nearby village.

It is significant to mention that the radiation fallout experienced in Hiroshima caused the death of fetuses and resulted in a famine that lasted for 12 years in that area.

Archaeological studies of the Indus Valley Civilization, including prominent sites like Mohenjo Daro and Harappa, have identified several cities that date back to approximately 5000 to 7000 BCE. The condition of the human skeletons unearthed in these areas suggests that the inhabitants were victims of an abrupt attack. Furthermore, there are indications that a significant heat event transpired in this locale at some time. Examination of these remains has also shown signs of radiation exposure.

Alternatively, researchers have discovered a three-square-mile zone located roughly 10 miles west of Jodhpur in Rajasthan, where a dense layer of radioactive ash has settled. This finding prompted the excavation of an ancient city in the vicinity, which had been devastated, along with its population of around 500,000, due to an explosion that occurred approximately 8,000 to 12,000 years ago.

A large crater, encompassing an estimated circumference of 2154 meters, has been identified at a distance of approximately 400 kilometers north of Mumbai. Researchers have determined that the crater dates back around 50,000 years. Findings related to this crater imply that a nuclear war may have occurred in ancient India.
